[huffpo.]  ugh so unbelievable i don’t know much about earthquake magnitudes, so i read up about it a little bit between classes today. apparently a 10.0 magnitude earthquake has never been recorded and would pretty much be all-destructive. so 7.0 is really, really, really bad :[
